I am Nitya, a Service Designer and Researcher with an interdisciplinary background in International Relations and Human-Centered Design, and a Master's in Service Design from the Royal College of Art, London.
My Background
My background has allowed me to develop a unique perspective that blends creativity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of global dynamics. Influenced by the lenses of race, gender, and class, this perspective enables me to comprehend real-world problems and devise solutions that are more inclusive and equitable. By addressing unconscious bias and fostering empathy, I aim to create user- and citizen-centric services and systems that positively impact society.
My Practice
I strongly believe in the transformative power of design to shape a more inclusive and equitable world. My goal is to design services and experiences that are less frictional, more equitable, inclusive, and enjoyable.
