About: This project is a volunteering work I undertook for Service Design Network Young Talent Board to work for a Digital product which is a Mentorship Platform for the SDN community.

Led user research, competitor analysis to identify key needs and market gaps
Conducted market research and competitor analysis to inform design strategy
Facilitated workshops to align user insights with business objectives
Designed UI, UX, wireframes, and prototypes for the platform
Refined features through usability testing and launched the pilot at the global conference

The SDN Young Talent Board Mentorship program is a unique initiative designed to bridge the gap between the budding talents of the design world and the seasoned professionals who have shaped the industry. Our program offers an unparalleled opportunity for young designers to connect directly with the esteemed speakers and platforms teams of our conference, ensuring a rich exchange of knowledge and insights.
VOLUNTEERING OBJECTIVE
To craft an MVP for our mentoring service that not only caters to external corporations by mentoring their fresh talent but also fortifies our internal community through mentoring engagements.
The project started out by Stakeholder Analysis and Competitor Analysis:
Engage with Service Design Network (SDN) stakeholders to understand their vision, goals, and expectations for the platform.
Competitor analysis of other platforms
Gather insights on target users after conducting indepth interviews : mentees and mentors.
User Personas & Journey Mapping
Create detailed personas for both mentees and mentors.
Map out their journeys: from onboarding to ongoing engagement and potential barriers.
Platform Architecture & Design
Develop the information architecture for the platform, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Design wireframes and initial UI/UX mockups for key platform screens.
Feedback & Iteration
Gather feedback from SDN stakeholders, potential users, and experts in mentorship programs.
Iterate on designs based on feedback to refine and improve the user experience.
The platform was soft-launched during the NGC Conference 2024 in May, reaching an audience of over 500 participants. Insights and feedback gathered from the event are currently being analyzed and incorporated into ongoing improvements as the project progresses.
